Hello and Happy New Year!!
It's that time again for the 6th Annual After Christmas Helmet Giveaway. We'll be at Land Rover LasVegas on West Sahara in Las Vegas on Saturday January 9th from 10-2. We have 200 helmets to give a way.

This year, we have local BMX Bike Pro Ricardo Laguna and friends
who will perform in two exhibition shows during our event. To enjoy the
chance to meet, greet and see Ricardo in action.

The event starts up 10AM - 2PM. The shows are scheduled
for 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM

The new year is already off to a great start. Santa has come and gone. As always winter camp at Woodward West was priceless and full of great dodgeball tourneys. I also started 2010...with some new blue friends. JAAAA!!!

After a long year of working non-stop.... putting everything on hold during the contest season.... the year is almost over!!! Here is a little sneak peak of how everything turned out in the backyard. I also want to wish everyone a VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY! Oh and Happy New year. See you in 2010!

Today Action Sports United hosted their season finale' contest for all the students in the ASU program. I was invited to come out and watch all the up and coming young whipper snappers sk8 board and bike! I had a blast seeing how much ASU has grown in Vegas. It is becoming a lot more main stream. It is amazing seeing these young kids not just go to the skate park for a session, but now they go to work on their skills. Maybe one day riding will become an after school sport??!! Only time will tell!

Today Matt and I got invited to go hang out with Dirk Arthur and his TIGERS from the show XTreme Magic at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. We got the once in a lifetime chance to go to his house and get up close and personal with the little Kitty's. I also got to see the only performing Liger in the world! Yep...a tiger and a lion mix! If you have seen the movie Napolean Dynamite... you know what I am talking about.
I can not thank Dirk enough and the entire gang at PR Plus for making this happen! We has a blast!

The new issue of BMX Plus came out today and I found out I am one of the TOP 20 candidates for the number one dirt jumper of the year title for 2009! Where YOU the viewers VOTE for the WINNER!!! People dream about this throughout their entire BMX careers. Even if I don't win, the nomination leaves me on a career high because it's such an honor to be nominated. Also, in the Pro-spective section of the magazine... I gave my opinion on traveling along with other BMX legends. Stay tuned to see the results for the announcement of the dirt jumper winner of the year
